Ryan Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Mariners.

Jeffers sent his seventh homer of the season into deep left field to plate Trevor Larnach and Edouard Julien, giving the Twins a 4-2 lead over the Mariners. Jeffers continues to be one of the hottest hitting catchers in the league and is now 6-for-19 with two homers and eight RBI this month.

Cal Raleigh went 1-for-1 with a grand slam in the Mariners’ win over the Twins on Tuesday.

Raleigh came up clutch for the Mariners. Called on to pinch hit in the seventh inning with the bases loaded, Raleigh sent his ninth homer of the season deep into the left field stands for the fourth pinch-hit grand slam in Mariners history. The righty vs. lefty matchup paid off for Raleigh, who made the most of a breaking ball Steven Okert floated over the middle of the plate. Raleigh is hitting just .213 on the season, but leads the Mariners in homers and RBI (20).

Cody Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Bellinger’s solo homer in the fourth gave the Cubbies their first run of the night. It was Bellinger’s sixth homer of the season and third in his last seven games, in what was his return from the 10-day IL. Bellinger extended his hitting streak to nine games in this one, and continues to look hot after getting off to a slow start through the first two weeks of the season. His three-hit performance was as good as we could have hoped for in his first game since April 23.
Jurickson Profar

SD Left Fielder #10

Jurickson Profar went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

Profar blasted a two-run homer off of Shota Imanaga in the eighth inning to give the Padres a 2-1 lead after being stifled by Imanaga through the first seven frames. The veteran left field continues to stay hot at the plate, as he’s now 10-for-23 in the month of May with two homers and eight RBI.
Alex Verdugo

NYY Center Fielder #24

Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-3 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

The home run was Verdugo’s fifth on the season and he now has 17 RBI. The big fly wasn’t a Yankee Stadium blast either, with Verdugo hitting it 383 feet at 107.4 mph off the bat. While many expected a power boost for Verdugo moving to Yankee Stadium, he has just a 3.8 percent barrel rate and his lowest fly ball rate since 2021. His HR/FB rate is up, so Verdugo could easily surpass his 13 home runs from last year, but he’s unlikely to see a major surge. Still, his walk rate is the highest it’s ever been and he’s slashing .275/.362/.450 on the season, which will give him fantasy value if he keeps hitting cleanup behind Juan Soto and Aaron Judge.
Shota Imanaga

CHC Starting Pitcher #18

Shota Imanaga allowed two earned runs over seven innings while striking out eight in the Cubs’ 3-2 win over the Padres.

Imanaga was stellar again on a night where the Cubs only provided him one run on offense. Unfortunately, a disastrous eighth inning, which he entered with 95 pitches alread on the ledger, quickly went awry for the lefty, who gave up a single a two-run homer to Jurickson Profar in the frame to get saddled with the loss. Outside of the disastrous eighth, Imanaga didn’t run into too much trouble in this one, stranding only one runner in scoring position while limiting the Padres to only singles through his first seven innings. He still sits at a perfect 5-0 on the season, but will look to earn his sixth win on Monday against the Braves.
Kutter Crawford

BOS Starting Pitcher #50

Kutter Crawford allowed two earned runs over six innings while striking out six in the Red Sox loss to the Braves on Tuesday.

Crawford gave up a two-run bomb to Jarred Kelenic in the third inning and scattered four more hits across six frames. The righty lowered his ERA to 1.75 on the year, and has now struck out six or more batters in six of his eight starts on the year. He’s off to a surprisingly strong start for the Red Sox this season, and will look to keep things going on Monday against the Rays.
Jarred Kelenic

ATL Center Fielder #24

Jarred Kelenic went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI in the Braves’ win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

It took 73 at bats for Kelenic to finally hit his first homer of the season. His two-run blast in the third gave the Braves an early 2-0 lead, but the Red Sox would battle back before the Braves finally went up 4-2. Kelenic has struggled to make the most of his platooned role, and can’t be relied on by fantasy managers at this time.
Justin Verlander

HOU Starting Pitcher #35

Justin Verlander allowed seven run on eight hits over five innings in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.

Verlander also walked three, struck out just two, and gave up three home runs on the day. The 41-year-old simply didn’t have it on Tuesday, allowing a three-run homer to light-hitting Alex Verdugo in the first inning. He allowed a run in four of his five innings on the day and posted just an 11 percent whiff rate and 20 percent CSW. His ERA is now 4.43 on the season and he has 16 strikeouts and 10 walks in 22 1/3 innings on the season. It has not been a particularly effective start, but he should have a much easier time against the Athletics next week.
Logan O'Hoppe

LAA Catcher #14

Logan O’Hoppe went 4-for-5 with two RBI in a win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

All four of O’Hoppe’s hits were singles and only one of them was hit harder than 95 mph, but the 24-year-old won’t be complaining. The catcher was a popular breakout candidate this season and while he hasn’t set the world on fire, his .279/.330/.404 triple slash is solid from the catcher position. He’s not going to get too many RBI opportunities in a depleted lineup, but his 13 on the season is better than nothing.
